Vattenfall – Aberdeen OWF – February 2018 to July 2018
Correll Services was contracted by Vattenfall to provide expertise on one of the first 66kV Offshore Wind Farms. We at CS felt privileged to be awarded the contract by a world leader within the industry. Our remit was to ensure the subcontractor delivered a first-class installation and performed testing activities correctly, including:
- Assisting with project RAM’s
- Attending project meetings
- Attending offshore works ensuring the contractors performs the installation correctly on:
- Array cable Hang-off system
- Stripping off armours, power cores and fibre optical cable
- Routing and cleating
- Termination on the HV/FO cable
- Onshore jointing works at transition joint pit
- Post termination testing on the HV/FO cable
- Reviewing and signing–off ITP documentation
