Briggs Marine – Inner Hebridean Islands, Scotland – January 2020 to March 2020 – 1 Subsea to Land Cable
CS contracted with Briggs Marine to complete cable jointing and testing works on the subsea cables and land cables between islands. The works include:
- Fabrication of project RAM’s
- Conducting project meetings
- Post load out testing,
- Time Domain Reflectometry (open & closed)
- Optical Time Domain Reflectometry (unidirectional)
- Setup of Fibre Optical monitoring system within the carousel
- Post Lay Testing
- Time Domain Reflectometry (open & closed)
- Optical Time Domain Reflectometry
- HV/FO Jointing subsea cables to onshore land cables
- Very Low Frequency testing
- Completion of ITP documentation for issue to the client
