Asso.subsea – Saint Brieuc OWF – January 2023 to Present – HV subsea cable pull-in

Correll Group, Cable Installation & Power Services Division (CIPS) is delighted to announce it has been awarded a contract with Asso.subsea, a specialized global contractor in the submarine cable industry for cable pull-in operations on the Saint-Brieuc Offshore Wind Farm. The full scope of work includes pulling HV subsea cables into the 62 Wind Turbine Generators as well as the Offshore Sub Station.

The project will be split into two campaigns, with the first campaign starting imminently.

Summary of work includes:

  • Pre-project meetings
  • Pre-Engineering
  • Monthly & Weekly meetings
  • Site visits
  • Mock-up Trials
  • Creations of RAMS
  • Project HIRA meetings
  • Pre Project training
  • Mobilisation of Personnel, PPE, tools and cable pulling equipment via 20ft containers on SOV from Port of Middlesbrough

On the offshore assets:

  • Initial inspection (As Found Report)
  • Tower mobilisation and preparation
  • Cable Pull-in’s
  • Complete the temporary hang-off
  • As built recording.
