Correll Group awarded third contract by Jan De Nul

13th August 2021: Taiwan, Asia: Correll Services is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract from Jan De Nul for the ‘Termination & Testing’ of 69kV subsea cables for the Formosa 2 Offshore Wind Farm.

Formosa 2 is located between 4 – 10km off the coast of Miaoli County in north-western Taiwan. The wind farm will comprise 47 Siemens Gamesa 8 MW turbines once commissioned, the wind farm will generate 376 MW – enough electricity to power 380,000 households each year.

Sam Dowey, Managing Director at Correll, commented; “We are delighted to have won this project and to be again working in close partnership with Jan De Nul, having collaborated on many previous projects. This is testament to our global team of technical experts, and we look forward to working together to successfully complete the Formosa 2 contract”.
