We’re always looking for new talent to join SPIE Wind Connect to help us grow. Developing our people is key to our success. As we expand globally, we offer exciting career opportunities through apprenticeships and graduate roles.
Apprenticeships
An apprenticeship lets you earn while you learn and gain hands-on experience. Most roles are in Electrical Engineering, supporting our core business. Apprentices work on tasks related to renewable energy projects, both onshore and offshore, including:
- Testing and terminating inter-array and export cables
- Stripping subsea cables
- Testing High Voltage and Fibre Optical cables
- Installing cable containment
- Routing cables following engineering drawings
After the apprenticeship, you’ll complete the Electrical Fitter program and earn a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electrical Engineering. Possible roles include HV Jointer/Tester, FO Jointer/Tester, or Electrical Engineer.
We also offer apprenticeships in support areas like Finance, Project Management, and Logistics for those studying business. We support apprentices with coaching and work closely with colleges to ensure strong training.
Graduates
We seek motivated graduates with electrical engineering degrees. From day one, you’ll join the Engineering team with real responsibilities. Each graduate has a tailored development plan and training for future roles. We work with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) to help graduates progress toward chartership.
Next Steps
If you’re eager to learn and interested in the energy sector, we’d love to hear from you! We offer benefits like annual leave, pension, private medical insurance, work-life balance, and career development.
